A talking clock that works with VoiceOver

Hear the time, without needing to look at the screen.

Tinny(not) is, at its core, a speaking clock: it announces the time using any voice already installed on your iPhone, on whatever schedule you set. That makes it useful as an assistive tool, not just a convenience.

Sound-only, if you want it

Turn off Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners for the app in Settings and leave Sounds on, and Tinny(not) becomes audio-only: a chime or a spoken announcement, with nothing to read on screen at all. The app shows this option on its own main screen.

Built with VoiceOver in mind

The main controls (the chime switch, the hour grid, the sound list, the custom text field) carry VoiceOver labels and announce their state. We test with VoiceOver and fix what we find. If something doesn't read the way it should, we want to know.

Free to try with the hourly chime; the speaking clock is part of the one-time Tinny(not) purchase, not a subscription. VoiceOver support isn't gated behind it.

Found something that doesn't read right with VoiceOver, or have a question about how it works? We want to hear about it.
