A speaking clock, in your voice

Instead of a chime, Tinny(not) can say the time out loud.

Pick any speech voice already installed on your iPhone, and Tinny(not) announces the hour in it, using your language and your 12- or 24-hour format. You don't need VoiceOver turned on for this. It's an ordinary scheduled notification with a spoken-time sound, so it works for anyone: cooking, driving, or just not wanting to look at a screen.

How it works

The app uses Apple's on-device text-to-speech to record a short audio clip ahead of time, then plays it as the notification sound at the scheduled moment, just as any other chime does. Nothing is generated live, and nothing leaves your iPhone.

Say your own words instead

Turn on Custom Notification Text for any mark and the speaking clock reads your message instead of the time: "Take your pills," "Stretch break," whatever you need repeated on schedule.
